Ability to reconcile future dated employees using Success Factors application template in ID Cloud

Hi All,

We have integrated Success Factors as an authoritative sources for Employees in ID Cloud but we are unable to fetch future dated employee. For example, someone who’s effective start date is 1 week in future but HR did configure new hire a week in advance, so that require access can be granted/set up before he/she joins the organisation.

Can someone confirm if Success Factor connector in ID Cloud is capable to fetching future dated users?

Of course “sunrise” and “sunset” dates for the user base is a common customization in “on prem” IDM deployments.

I will need to further investigate the means of enabling in IdC…

Thank you for your query. I’ve seen a similar query come into the support center and confirmed with our Engineering team that the current SAP SuccessFactors HR Application Connector does not pull in inactive or future-dated users.

To address this, you will need to use a Scripted REST connector. This method allows you to customize and extend the data retrieval process to include inactive or future-dated users as required.
