Getting ForgeRock Identity Cloud trained has never been easier - and here is how!

The advent of ForgeRock Identity Cloud has not only changed the way in which customers “consume” the ForgeRock Identity Platform; it has also changed expectations about how training is delivered. Bite-sized, just in time training has never been in higher demand and rightfully so.

For as long as I can remember, there has been a natural tension between the need to have competent, trained consultants to implement and integrate technology, and the need to contain the number of non-billable hours that a technical consultant spends in training. Due to this fine balance, an essential requirement arises: consultants can no longer spend weeks in a classroom setting, cramming the full curriculum. Instead, required knowledge is expected to be delivered in conveniently-sized lessons, at the point of need.

Driven by our partners’ and customers’ needs, my esteemed friends at ForgeRock University - our award-winning technical training division - have developed and released the new ForgeRock Identity Cloud Learning library. Our ForgeRock Identity Cloud learning videos are free to access for all and are easy to search. You can either watch the whole series like a traditional on-demand class, or jump right to the specific topic you need to understand. Bingeing on the whole series (or, indeed, completing it in smaller chunks) qualifies you for your ForgeRock Digital Badge, just the same as if you’d attended the class.

It’s a much easier way to participate in training, but it’s also a really convenient and easy way to get practical answers to those questions you have during implementation. Need a reminder on how to configure Identity Cloud as a SAML service provider? Searching for that will lead you right to “Managing Federation” and the 6 minute video containing only what you need to know.
